This year’s China Fashion Week takes “Abundance” as the theme and Eastern aesthetics as the core, deeply integrating tradition with modernity. The Abundance Of Everything, a promotional film created for the digital runway of China Fashion Week, stars the digital human “Phoenix”, which utilizes digital and artistic means to trace the development journey of China’s fashion industry since reform and opening up, highlighting the innovative fusion of Eastern aesthetics and modern art .

The film is divided into three chapters. In the prologue, Phoenix gently enveloped by silk lies dormant in a mirrored underwater realm; as she rises to the surface, her eyes open. This transition symbolizes the initial awakening of people’s awareness of beauty and fashion, while also initiating the journey of exploration that follows. The second chapter set in Time Suspension Zone adopts the elements such as water and mirrors, to create an artistic, and conceptual multi-dimensional space. Here, Phoenix encounters multiple versions of herself in the mirrors, who are in different eras/settings and wear different garments, showing the development journey of China’s fashion industry and reflecting its diversity and inclusiveness. In the third chapter, Phoenix ventures into a dense forest presented in the form of digital point clouds, illustrating the infinite possibilities of AI-powered growth and fusion of digital entities; the scene where Phoenix meets her digital clone provokes philosophical reflections on the relationship between human and fashion, encouraging viewers to explore new directions of fashion creation empowered by technology. The overall film unfolds the story in a progressive structure (Awakening-Source Tracing-Innovation), profoundly interpreting the cultural significance and future vision of Chinese fashion.
