Lordhair’s website transformation represents a major achievement in delivering a stable, high-performance beauty and cosmetic eCommerce platform at global scale. The project focused on modernising the digital experience while protecting business continuity, customer trust, and long-term growth.

The platform was successfully migrated from Magento 1 to Magento 2, including over 1,000+ products with over 50K variants, 1,20,000 customer records, and 200,000 historical orders, with zero data loss and no critical downtime. This ensured uninterrupted service for a worldwide customer base while establishing a future-ready technical foundation.

Performance improvements were a key objective. Average page load time was reduced from 6.2 seconds to 2.2 seconds, delivering fast, consistent browsing across product, category, and checkout pages. Mobile performance, which represents the site’s largest traffic segment, saw a major breakthrough, with PageSpeed scores increasing from 38 to 86, creating a smoother and more reliable mobile shopping experience. Desktop performance was equally optimised, with PageSpeed scores improving from 52 to 94, supporting faster discovery and checkout journeys.

Search visibility and organic growth were fully restored and strengthened following the migration. Monthly organic sessions increased from approximately 120,000 to 190,000 users within six months of launch, while the number of top-10 ranking keywords grew from 3,200 to 5,100, driven by a server-side rendering approach that improved crawlability and indexation.

Together, these results demonstrate how thoughtful platform engineering, performance optimisation, and SEO strategy can elevate a beauty and cosmetic website into a fast, resilient, and customer-centric digital experience that delivers measurable business impact at scale.
